Once upon a time there was a shy lady who didn't want to show her real picture. However, she was using a really cute picture she made for MSN messenger, remember that?

Not knowing any better she continued to use this avatar online for about a year and then found a professional picture of herself to use instead. Having a real picture of herself is the best thing that she could have done for her branding. Someone hiding behind a cartoon will not be as trusted as someone with a real picture. Even worse, is not having a picture at all!

However, for nostalgia sake and the cuteness factor, and this lady absolutely loves cats, she decided to keep this picture cartoon alive and immortalized in a Click Track Profit badge.

Its Bills Badgehunt Time

Click Track Profit are again hosting a badgehunt where many people have bought badges for you to find. This is a great time to be a part of a CTP team.

The person who collects the most badge hunt badges will receive a $500 cash prize! if it's a tie, we'll split the prize amongst the top collectors. On top of that during the event we'll be giving out tons of XP randomly when members collect the badges! Winners are Grinners

My son has recently taught me how to win. He plays competition table tennis and I just started this also. Here are some observations I have noticed. These actually can be applied to net marketing also.

• Focus on your strategy. It's not how your opponent plays the game it's how you play the game. Don't get distracted by them. 
• You have strengths and you have weaknesses. Accept advice with these things and don't dismiss this advice. No matter what you are doing there is probably someone better than you.
• Come to the match prepared. Get the right equipment.
• Be patient while playing. Go for the winning shot when you get the opportunity.
• Practice what you do every day. Keep on trying to better yourself. Put in 100% even in practice.
• However, still look after yourself. Rest and re-hydrate.

This is a reminder that you also can be a winner. There is a badge hunt at Click Track Profit starting Feb 10 and going to the 28th. There is 18 days which is (plenty of time?) to find 200 badges. I have bought a badge again. This is what to look for. My badge is above. Here is my blog from last time. The good news for you is that all my subscribers to my blog updates will get a badge code. Now is an excellent time to join CTP! Not only do you get $1 for joining but you may randomly get another 50cents for just clicking a link to get my badge. Find other badges by reading the instructions on each badge and have more chances to win. With winning this badge competition: Focus on what you have to do. In Sunny and Tom's Blog there is a link to a spread sheet to keep you on track. Some badges will require some time to achieve so at least write these down and work on them each day. Be patient. Remember this competition starts in a few days so come prepared! What are the requirements to get each badge? Read the instructions carefully. To get all 200 badges you need at least 11 badges everyday. Try to pace yourself. But most importantly don't forget to look after yourself these next 18 days. Its easy to get so engrossed in this hunt that we will forget we have family and friends. :) Mostly, saying this to myself. Therefore, take time out to rest and re-energize. Its over!

I feel like this cat, sad and grumpy! I'm sad its over. I'm grumpy because I thought my badge was very easy to get and I was expecting more people to grab it!  Next to the kitty is my badge that I paid for to be a part of Spooktacular. I'm tired from the surfing over the last 10 days. I managed to collect 151 badges myself. My housework has been neglected. It is exciting though to wake up in the morning to see which people have joined my list or program I advertised.

I may have to work on my branding. I am still an "unknown" in this industry. Any help would be gratefully accepted. How could I have done this better? I even advertised with a fixed ad on Nerdbux.  Of coarse with good results and getting over 30 thousand hits. Also, a little satisfied with my efforts. I have a Nerdgrid ad and got 33 referrals for Click Track Profit during this time. 

My website I was promoting is HERE! I made it through EasyHits4U free splash page. I really should upgrade at AdKreator so it looks a little more professional! It was more an informative page and I wanted people to be able to see all the instructions on one page.

Overall, here are my stats: (some people joined more than just my elist!)

If anything this has been a good branding experience for me. Would I buy another badge next time! Definitely YES!
